iPhone stalled for Canada?
So when is the iPhone coming to Canada? According to customer service reps at Rogers, not anytime soon. Apparently Comwave, the Canadian owner of the iPhone trademark isn't impressed by Apple's offers, and Apple's response has been "Canada isn't a significant market anyway". Or so we've been led to believe.
The data pricing war may still heat up further, however. The same rep who spilled the beans on Apple's negotiating stance also hinted that we might see a $10 unlimited data plan in the near future.
Hmmm…. anyone from Apple, Comwave or Rogers want to comment officially?

While Comwave may be smart by holding out for a better offer from Apple, it’s not anything positive for its goodwill if, in fact, it’s the hurdle keeping the iPhone out of Canada.
As for cheap data plans, I’ll believe it when I see it. :)
