Warlox Wireless unlocks iPhone
Ever wonder about the real demand for unlocked iPhone? It must be significant. While wandering through Boston's Prudential Center on the way to dinner, this bunch of phone geeks (l-r, James Body, Jim Courtney, Jeff Black, Dean Elwood) stopped to chat with the proprietor of one of the kiosks. Why?
It might have had something to do with the prominently displayed sign offering to unlock the iPhone. In fact, you can buy the iPhone from these folks and get it unlocked on the spot if you're not sufficiently technical. Somehow I have my doubts that any of my dinner companions would have had any difficulty.
Further conversation also revealed that these folks, and their iUnlock subsidiary, are becoming resellers of some other products we know well, like the MaxRoam SIM.
