Hockey loving geeks everywhere will rejoice at this announcement.
NEW YORK – The National Hockey League (NHL) will offer free hockey programming to consumers on the Joost distribution platform beginning at the start of the 2007 Stanley Cup Final. The announcement was made today by Joost™, the world’s first broadcast-quality Internet television service.
If only Joost wasn't such a poor experience on my PC. It really doesn't play well with Windows Vista, it seems.

It doesn’t play well with Vista? I can only imagine it sucks on XP then. Yikes!
