Lodgenet’s Internet IS a series of tubes!
It turns out that Alaska Senator Ted Stevens was at least somewhat right. For some companies, including hotel services provider LodgeNet, the internet IS a series of tubes. I've been struggling with uploading video to Revver using the LodgeNet high speed connection in my room. Dump too much stuff on THEIR truck, and up pops a message saying that your connection speed has been slowed to 56K for the next 10 minutes because of "suspicious activity". Yeah.
