The New Project-A-Phone ICD-5000

Ever needed to project an image from PDA or a cellular phone?  The most familiar solution for most people is an imaging projector from Elmo.  Project-A-Phone, however, offers imaging projectors specifically designed for this purpose.

The ICD-5000, which we have just acquired, includes a 5 megapixel camera, capable of delivering up to 30 frames per second of video at VGA resolutions.  With the included USB cable, you can then pipe the video into the PC for postprocessing with the included software — you can adjust lighting levels, contrast, color saturation, sharpness and other parameters as needed.  Equipped with a clamp to hold the device steady, it can also be used for photographing the handheld screen to use in product literature, user manuals, and so on.  We use it to give demos over the internet, using Microsoft Livemeeting. Works a charm!
