I think it’s tough to be a Maple Leafs, or a Habs fan at the moment, and be out of the playoffs. Increasingly, they’re joining the Sens bandwagon. After all, what are you going to do? Quit watching hockey for the rest of the season? Nah! This week one of our developers, Noam, finally broke down and got some Sens-wear. And, Randy Morin, despite being a die-hard leafs fan, sent me a link to his new MySpace page Sens layout.
Welcome aboard the bandwagon, guys!

Ever have one of those weekends where it seems like all you’re doing is being the household IT manager? It’s one of those for me.
- Memory upgrades on PCs. The main machine I use at home has become very slow ever since I put multiple accounts on it for the rest of the family. More memory seems to be the ticket.

New router. Routers have just been a pain for me, recently. My Linksys WRT54GS been flaky for a while — some kind of memory leak it seems. Every three or four days it would hang, and as a result, my phones (all IP) would also be dead. I’ve just been ignoring it. Sometimes it’s nice to not have the phone ring! However it’s been screwing up Janice who has a new job, and needs to be on call, so I decided it had to be fixed. I chatted with David Beckemeyer (of Phonegnome fame) who suggested replacing the Linksys, which I did last weekend. I bought a Netgear WGR614. Turns out it was a bad choice. It lasts all of 24 hours before it hangs. At David’s suggestion, I am now on a DLink DI-524. Needless to say, it’s a nuisance.

New Capcha for the blog. We’re getting as many as 40 new SPAM comments a day. I’ve spent a bunch of time this morning upgrading Boriel’s Captcha on both Saunderslog.com and Simplyrelevant.com. Hopefully that will solve the problem.
Now it’s off to Staples to return the Netgear router.
