Indian outsourcing is moving up the value chain.  Over the last year I’ve encountered all kinds of Indian companies who are offering not just contract coding services, but also licensed code modules, and now business intelligence.  Evalueserve is a new business intelligence consultancy offering strategic intelligence services. The quality of their work seems to be very good.  They have two samples you can download from their site, including one which is an analysis of the impact of Skype on incumbents

Google Earth has released.  Go try it!  Warning – highly addictive. You can find all kinds of stuff.  For instance,  this is a satellite image of the Progreso Pier (5 miles long!) on the Mexican side of the Gulf of Mexico.
