Harper’s Speech

I’m now listening to Stephen Harper’s speech.  He says that tonight’s vote underlines the need for a "strong, united, and principled opposition".  So do something about it Stephen!  You’re the leader of the party.

It really doesn’t sound like he has a plan to court the Ontario voter.  What a disappointment, and what a disappointment that he doesn’t seem to understand what he has to do.

C-48 Passes, Confidence Motion Defeated

I am sitting listening to the tally on C-48.  C-43 has passed, 250 in favour, 54 against, which means every MP is present.  The suspense is unbelievable.  They are counting the MP’s votes, one by one.  The Liberals have all voted in favour, and now the NDP are… Coming up to the independents… Parrish yea, Cadman yea… The confidence motion is defeated.
