Rutz 1997 Russian River Chardonnay
Teriyaki’d salmon filets, plain white rice, and steamed asparagus accompanied by Rutz Cellars 1997 Russian River Chardonnay. The wine had a definite nose of butter and oak, but on the palate it’s all apples, peaches, honey, and the spice of orange peel on the back of the tongue. Despite being 100% malolactically fermented, the overpowering butter flavour you get from this process wasn’t there. Instead, it was a wonderfully balanced combination of fruit, acid, and oak — a perfect complement to the salmon and vegetables.

so he’s right… Bondra’s play in the first period was stupid. He deserved the penalty. But the Sens are gonna rally!
4th Period
Chara’s tie up goal in the 3rd was fabulous. But the guys are really getting tired in overtime, and the pace has been killer. 2nd overtime has gotta decide it, I think.
Leafs Suck
or at least, that’s how the song goes…. no sorrows being drowned here. The Sens won because at the end of the day, the geriatrics that the Leafs have on their team ran out of gas. See you game 7!
