FCC Preparing to Overhaul Telecom, Media Rules. A major development in the US telecom space.  If all of these changes are enacted as proposed, the face of the telecommunications and media industries in the US will change dramatically as regulation is reduced.

Just discovered Popdex.  This little ditty tracks websites by the number of sites linking to them and the "importance" of those sites.  Interesting idea… a sophisticated variant on google…

And, speaking of google, check out froogle.  Froogle searches e-commerce sites for the products you want.  I’ve been thinking about this for all of at least two years.  It would be very cool to expose inventory, pricing etc to an engine like this.
