Paul Martin Blog

Whoa!  Paul Martin is suddenly blogging with a vengeance.  He’s not saying much of substance yet, but there are daily entries.  He seems to be sidestepping the leadership convention altogether, except for passing reference to the number of debates he has to do.  Instead he’s talking about vision, and presenting himself as an approachable leader through his town halls.

So, two questions:

  1. Neither Sheila Copps nor John Manley have a weblog,  Why not?  Ditch the flash and quicktime, and give us something to interact with, folks.
  2. What are the Tories and the Alliance going to do to counter this?

This is actually exciting.  Holy cow!

P.S.  Paul – you need an RSS feed.

P.P.S.  And you need to say something a little more substantial.  Don’t just go through the motions, for goodness sake!

Blogging on MSFT’s Radar

Bound to happen… this via Mary-Jo Foley’s Microsoft Watch:

It was just a passing mention. But Chairman Bill noted at yesterday’s Newspaper Association of America Annual Convention that Microsoft is very interested in making sure blogging tools are there to support folks doing “bottom-up publishing.”

Not a lot of detail, but Bill doesn’t usually mention stuff in his speeches that he hasn’t been thinking about or talking with people internally about.

Audio Point

This was one of the scenarios we debated endlessly when I was working on UPnP at Microsoft.  Someone did it!  Woo hoo!

AudioPoint: uPNP Based. Audio Point. Yet another hear music on your stereo from your PC device. Cool that it uses uPNP. $199 uses… [Geekfishing Blog]
