Crazed Monkey on Gay Marriage

Enough with the gay marriage debate already! is a good rant.  I think my favorite line in the whole thing is this one.

I am sick and tired of hearing people, mostly religious nuts, waxing on about "the family" and how vitally important it is that a wedding only involve someone with a penis and another with a vagina.

Opening the pool

Ugh!

Nowhere near as smooth as last year.  The winter before we had it closed by Purewater, and opened by Purewater.  Purewater guarantees the water will be clear if they do the work.  It was perfect.

Last winter it was done by Mermaid, the people who installed our pool.  Six of the stoppers came loose over the winter (we’re praying that it was after the freeze, otherwise we’ll be digging up the patio to replace cracked lines.  And the bottom of the pool is a green, goopy, mess.  I’ve got a week of cleanup ahead of me.

Back to Purewater next year.
