Sharon’s Hard Choice
Sharon’s Hard Choice William Safire in the NY Times. He’s usually fairly hawkish, and this editorial is no less than usual. His thesis is that Palestinians will only have piece once Israel has removed the terrorists (Hamas et al) from their midst, since the Palestinian Authority doesn’t have the will to do it themselves. Isn’t this just the Whitehouse position stated a little differently?
